Why We Built This Site
Michigan provides several public access routes, but each one answers a different question. Jackson County Sheriff controls its reports and booking material. Court clerks maintain filed charges and dispositions. Michigan State Police runs ICHAT, while MDOC and PSOR publish separate supervision and registry information. We bring the verified contact details, request steps, limits, and search links together without treating those systems as one database.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately operated reference site, not part of a Michigan court, law-enforcement office, or state agency. Our role has firm limits:
- We do not retrieve or issue official criminal-history results
- We cannot submit FOIA requests or set-aside papers for a visitor
- We do not certify court documents, police reports, or repository records
- We cannot interpret a charge, warrant, or legal remedy for a specific person
- We cannot promise that an agency will not change a fee, hour, or procedure
An official copy must come from the Jackson County sheriff, the correct court clerk, Michigan State Police, or the other agency that created it.
